Default Just got done with the wife's gun

This is my Christmas gift to my wife. Who has decided to get her LTCF. It's a Ruger SP-101 .357 Mag(she'll probably be using .38spl+p) I put a Wolff 9lb mainspring in it to lighten up the triggerpull for her. Then added a hogue monogrip for comfort.

Nice rig. I have had a few of them over the years. She will love it.

It lightens up the double action pull, but does nothing for the single action pull. I did it because she was coming off target when shooting double action.

I do like to look in to that, as my snubby does have really really heavy DA trigger, and i could live with little lighter pull...

I bought my spring kit at www.midwayusa.com click on gun parts then search by make and model and you should be good to go!

Your gun is brand new correct?

I'd wait till it's broken in to change the spring...or not.

I just changed a trigger spring in my brand new Glock.

I've been dryfiring the hell out of it(infact, I'm dryfireing it as I read this thread) in hope that it gets litte better.

It did get much smoother then it was, but not any lighter tho..
