airsoft illegal in philly?

So I am at dicks sporting goods out in Franklin mills and the sales associate said airsoft were illegal to sell in the city.

Anyone else heard this?

His city is a joke. So I can hunt with a bow at an earlier age but can't purchase one until 21.

Sounds like archery should be covered under second amendment and covered by preemption.

Pre-emption was crafted to apply specifically to firearms, hence air gunners and people who want to carry a pocket knife or multi-tool are out of luck.

I'm not sure if it's illegal to own them, but stores can't sell airsoft stuff in Scranton. You can still buy them outside of Scranton, like Dickson City or Moosic.
