LTCF issued in Pa.?

Anybody know how many LTCF permits have been issued in Pa.

Not sure if that is obtained through FOIA. I do know that the woman who issued me mine mentioned that don't give out that information, "not even to your wife".

I would imagine there is a way to get it, but not something widely published I'm assuming

There were a total of 165,857 License to Carry Firearms issued as reported by county sheriffs’
offices and chiefs of police of cities of the first class in 2009.

2010 report is due out in a few months.

Total number would be for a 5 year period. Last I saw was from 2004 thru 2008. About 625,000 or about 1 out of every 20 PA residents.

Personal information cannot be given out, but general statistics are OK. Scroll to the bottom of the page in my link and click on the .pdf for the latest report, from 2009, with data as recent as 3/2010, seems to be the latest the Pa State Police has to offer...

No worries, I am a 20yr IT guy and also failed to Google first, as IT guys we suck at the interwebs, maybe Al Gore can help us. Lol
