Re: long shot in Lower Pottsgrove
Best of luck getting into the club...I don't know if it's that club, but there is a club in Pottstown that does not allow semi auto.
Only allowed to shoot bolt action there...which normally would be fine with me, but I like to take out my RFB as well. I don't like clubs that have too many restrictions on what you can and cannot shoot.
I belong to two clubs and both of them are within 30 minutes from my house in Northern Pottstown.

I heard that the skin heads go to that club since the grand wizard lives in the area. This is from someone that belongs to that club as well.
There are a decent number of clubs within 30 minutes of Pottstown.

Re: long shot in Lower Pottsgrove
Lower Pottsgrove has a reputation for restricting it's membership. By this I mean that there are certain ethnicities that would find it very difficult to obtain membership.
They are very focused on expanding the utilization of their bar, and the poker machine payout to generate revenue for the club.
Your miles may vary.

That is sad, but it sounds like Elverson...they are more concerned about it being a social club versus a real gun club. I never go to the meetings because it's a bunch of old timers that just drink and smoke...you cannot even breathe in the room during the monthly meeting.
I wished there were more true gun clubs...well ones that aren't always busy such as New Holland and Atglen, but have the 300+ yard ranges.
