Re: Form 1 Lancaster county
I can't say for sure, but I get a lot of clients from Lancaster county saying they can't obtain a CLEO. I resolve that real easily with a trust.

Does it need to be signed by a Chief? If so, I can give you some pointers about which departments to avoid in Lancaster.
I wouldn't do Lancaster City, East Lampeter or Ephrata Boro, you might want to try Akron Borough, or West Earl Township. Both of the chiefs in those departments are pretty good guys and would probably sign. I'm only basing this upon my personal knowledge of them.Rules are written in the stone,

Re: Form 1 Lancaster county
A constable cannot sign. A DA or a judge who can hear felony cases can sign.

Why is it easier if I form a trust?

Re: Form 1 Lancaster county
A trust doesn't require a CLEO signature, as it is a fictitious legal entity, which cannot have a criminal background. There is nothing for a CLEO to sign off on.

Re: Form 1 Lancaster county
How does one go about forming a trust?
What does it cost to form a trust?
How does a trust go about relocating to a new location when I do?
Is a trust treated the same as a person would be by the ATF?
Does going the trust route make the process more or less complcated?
