But you stated that you didn't stick around to see the sale complete, so you don't know if the shop actually completed the sale or not.

If you're really concerned about this, you should be contacting the ATF and telling them of the issues.

Its hard to say either way but the few times I was there I left unsatisfied.

As far as if they completed the sale or not. If they started the paper work they would have gone through with it. Those guys don't do anything unless the have to....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a straw purchase occurs anytime another person purchases a gun from an FFL and is not the intended owner. In both these cases I BELIEVE it would have been apparent to any reasonable person, that the person buying the weapon was not the intended owner.

The reason for my posting, and what I thought the intentions of this forum section was for, is to give your opinions of particular gun shops...

That being said, I have a lot of respect for the "senior" members on this forum, and if this is inappropriate for this forum, I have no problem removing it.

A straw purchase is when the "buyer" is acting as the purchasing agent for another individual.

Under Federal laws, it is permissible to buy a firearm (handgun or longarm) from an FFL as a bona fide gift for another.

Similarly, in Pa longarms can be purchased as bona fide gifts for anyone; handguns can be purchased for gifts between spouses, parents/children, grandparents/grandchildren.

All of the above presumes that the giftor and giftee and not otherwise prohibited from possession/ownership.

I just thought it better to remove the questionable material that although still very much my opinion, could be offensive to people on here, as it quickly proved to be.
