    Default Hellcat 380

Anyone have any experience with the Hellcat 380? They look to be a Kel-tec knockoff, but are about 2/3's the price.

I saw a lot of negative comments about their customer service on some other forum. Google should bring back hits.

    Thumbs down Re: Hellcat 380

I'd pass on the Hellcat and buy a Ruger or Keltec. Have not seen or heard anything positive about them. I've handled one, and been present at the Range when one was trying to be shot, at least one failure of one type or another from nearly every mag. I had my LCP there, the Hellcat owner was impressed, and disgusted when he saw the difference. $270 for a little pistol that runs fine vs the $199 POS.

I have a Kel-Tec P3AT and love it. Get the parkerized version and the clip. I have carried it everyday for the past year and the parkerizing shows no wear at all. Just gotta clean the pocket lint out every so often.

i've never even heard of hellcat so without knowing anything about it i would recommend you stay away. keltec's are priced low enough that you can buy one and get a good gun and not break the bank. never forget that you get what you pay for and a cheap gun you pay 200 bucks for is not going to be the same quality as the keltec, ruger, kahr or SW BG.

I'm an LCP owner too. Two big thumbs up. With a crimson trace laser it is capable of a degree of precision far beyond what most people typically expect from a pocket pistol.

Jeff Quinn did a review a while back.

But, after his shining review of the DB830, I take his reviews with a big grain of salt.

Lol, sometimes he makes me wonder. I don't think I've ever seen him do a bad review.

He pretty much admits that he only reviews products he endorses. I'm usually amused by his 10 second videos of him rapidly shooting whatever he's reviewing.
