Folding Knives in Philadelphia

Are flip knifes legal here? Ive carried a little cold steel for what seems like ever till one of my friends saw it and said it was illegal in the city. Is that true?

Philadelphia-only, as is mentioned in the other thread.

Also mentioned in the other thread is that this is rarely enforced. I've got lots of friends that carry knives clipped to their belts at all times, and none of them has had any issues with law enforcement.

I do find it strange that I can legally carry a firearm, but not a flip-knife.

Or any bladed instrument not directly being used for employment. Scissors could be construed to be included.
