    Isn't it the greatest sense of accomplishment you've ever known to finish a rifle that you built yourself? I built mine and took it out shooting for the first time yesterday. I can't wait until I've put a few hundred rounds through it and I get as comfortable with it as I am with my shotguns.

    Not really any special.skillset required to build one really. I built my first one and will continue to build any future ar's i want. Only special tool needed is an armourers wrench. Its really easy man.

    To OP. Nice ar. Always nice to shoot something you threw together from a pile of parts.

    Update: The Green Mountain Barrel was a steal for $129 bucks! I never heard much about them other than they made 22 barrels. Some if the info I saw in the net said they made some barrels for Colt and Bushmaster. The 1:8 twist is nice and it shot 55g, 69g and 75 g great!
