LOL, that's saying something about the gun. They can't even give those pieces of crap away. The last time I was at the range (damn, it's been a while!) the guy next to me just about tossed his sigma downrange for target practice with his other guns!

Re: S&W Promotion $99 Sigma
Those third generation Sigma's are sturdy and very reliable weapons -- they just have a 12-13 pound trigger pull which sucks to high heaven. I owned mine about 2 months before selling it off for a Springfield XD, but I'll admit that I had one of the best trigger pulls after working that 12lbs'er for that time.

Re: S&W Promotion $99 Sigma
I have to agree, Oddly enough, every one who has shot my Sigma has asked about it more, after 10K rounds through it, it still shoots and only one FTFeed errr limp wrist so far with it.
Some how I just cant get into the more expensive is better frame of mind.
Tyler shot my Sigma at the range the other day, shot some 300 rounds with it and came out smiling asking himself why he went with a Springfield 45 when the price of bullets is so high.Skeet is a sport where you are better to hit half of each bird then completely blast one and miss the other completely.
The choice is yours, place your faith in the court system and 12 of your peers, or carried away by 6 friends.

Re: S&W Promotion $99 Sigma
I always thought the Sigma was a decent gun for the money at $300 NIB.
Anyone who hates or sells one due to the trigger pull should allow me to do a trigger job on one. I have set them at 4 lbs and they go thousands of rounds since with no problems.
It's kinda like I hear people praise the Glock, yet wont buy one due to the hump on the bottom of the grip frame. Get rid of it, and apply a-grip or stipple the frame. Simple, cheap and easy to do for even a hick like me.
I'm a Glocker, but I never hated the Sigma.
