    Default 7.62x39 Upper for a AR

    Anyone done this and wanna share some info. Been thinking of doing it since I can get a complete upper at a reasonable price

    Hell, my 40 round mag might even hold 30

    The uppers tend to be going for reasonable prices because no one has been able to come up with a magazine that will feed the ammo reliably through the AR's straight magwell. You can go for it if you really really want to, but don't expect it to run very well.
