How did it go?
If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.

Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,

Re: State College Borough Special Meeting for firearms ordinance
This is what I found at the website. I will now look up the ordinance just for giggles. The only way to be sure (presuming the info below in bold is accurate) is to
"review the latest ordinance texts available at the borough offices".
Centre County, Pennsylvania
Specific ordinances are listed below that can be accessed by clicking on them. For further information on ordinances not shown here, call the Borough offices at (814) 234-7106.
CAUTION
Accuracy of the ordinance information cannot be guaranteed. Utilization of information is at users' sole risk. The information provided is periodically updated but may not contain the latest amendments. Users should review the latest ordinance texts available at the Borough offices before proceeding. EDIT:
This is what is still on the website:
f. Firearms, Weapons, Etc. No person shall have in
his possession, bring into or use in any park, whether carried
concealed or carried open, any fire arms, sling shots, fire
crackers, fireworks or other missile-propelling instruments or
explosives or arrows (except as allowed in a designated archery
area) or other dangerous weapons, which have such properties as
to cause annoyance or injury to any person or property.
Edit #2
I will call the borough tomorrow to find out the process (if any, other than just showing up and looking/asking to see the parks ordinances) invoved with:
"review the latest ordinance texts available at the borough offices".Last edited by TheF00L; May 29th, 2012 at 04:59 PM.

Re: State College Borough Special Meeting for firearms ordinance
FOOL,
If you need any help, let me know, i live/and work in the downtown area. I also know that the courthouse on Fraiser has a sign posted saying "weapons prohibited". I was under the impression that lockboxes were required.
