Just ordered my first pump 12ga

I ordered a remington 870 police from a shop in Ohio the other day. It was a police trade in...got it for $450 shipped. Has a speedfeed stock on it. I also ordered a magpul forend, the gun has a 20" barrel so I got an 8 shot tube a mesa side saddle and a sure fire X300 ultra coming.

Congrats on the new purchase. My first 12 ga. was a Marlin 19s model that was a gift from my dad. It's awesome for small game but won't take any longer than 2 3/4 shells. I bought an 870 Express and outfitted it a few years ago with the Remington Shur-shot Mossy oak stock set for turkey season. When my oldest son became interested in turkey hunting, I bought him a camo 870 Express Magnum. Now my youngest son is in need of a 12 ga. but favors the black combat shotguns. I'm planning to build him an 870 with a Remington SpecOps adjustable stock that he can grow with, side saddle shell holder and tube extension.

I have a Benelli M4 but this is my first pump shotgun. I am pretty excited.

My gun showed up the other day. Looks brand new. Got most of the goodies on it. Still waiting on my extended mag tube from nordic. Pics to come.

Thanks. I have to take it back apart. I think I cut the new spring on the mag tube to long....I can only get 7 in the tube.

Nice piece. I have a Police Mag 870 but mine is the traditional wood and blued variant. She should treat you very well.
