Positive OC Encounter at Verizon Wireless - Monroeville
I was at the Verizon store with my wife so she could get her new refurbished Droid X activated on her account. I was wearing my new FNX-9 in the Bianchi Carrylok 82 holster.
As I was browsing the FIOS stand to check the channel line-up I was approached by an individual (another customer, not Verzion employee) asking about my FNX and whether it was a 9mm. He said he was in the market for a 9mm and was looking for opinions.
He has a couple .380s one of them being a Sig.
I pointed him to PAFOA of course and told him one of the best options would be to come out to a Poofa group shoot to handle and test out a lot of different weapons.Last edited by falcn; May 13th, 2011 at 11:54 AM.

He was probably looking to build report so he can try and close you on Fios

FYI, you can activate your own phone online from your account. No need to go to the store.

At least you had something positive to say, that includes Verizon in the same sentence!

good to hear. VZ is VERY anti as a corporation. WHen I worked for VZ business it was pointed out (in no uncertain terms) that even having a gun in your personal vehicle, even if not parked on company property was grounds for immediate termination. I didnt have a LTCF at the time, but do clearly recall that part of the new-hire training.

Maybe because I reside in a rural area, their signal sux. I got a TracFone now, works better than Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. And my text msg. address is still @att.net, go figure.
I have had a few service rip-off complaints, as well as their anti-2A stances, but this is not the place to complain.LUKE 11:21 == Proverbs 29:2 = Proverbs 25:28

Yeah we know, but she couldn't remember her one password that was not her online account password - so to the store we went.
I've been in there several times in the past 12 months OC and never had a manager say anything. The one sales guy and I were talking guns the last time as he was setting up the Fascinate I had just purchased.Last edited by falcn; May 13th, 2011 at 02:00 PM.
