    The part that I agree most with is the notion that anti's (I think mostly Libs) are fine with CC because they can ignore the reality that a person is armed. They can pretend that there are no guns in their little world, and that the police will protect them!

    Still going through old threads. this was a great read and thought it could be beneficial to anyone new here who may not see it otherwise. Just as applicable today. and dont miss the link in post 13.

    Since this thread has been disinterred, it may not hurt to point out (again) that so-called "Constitutional carry" is a misnomer as typically used. There is only one state with true Constitutional carry (no license, no prerequisites): Vermont.

    Many seem to refer to open carry without a permit as "Constitutional" carry. The Constitution (2nd Amendment) says nothing about mode of carry.

    True, however at the time of founding concealed carry was considered to be something done by criminals, or the dishonest.
