Astra A75, A80 or A100....Any good?
I've been looking online and at the gun shows for one of these things, but have yet to find one reasonably priced. Particularly when I can buy a "very good to excellent" condition S&W 5906 from CDNN for $299.
Are they any good?
Thanks.

They are very good, especially the 80 and the 100. The ergo's are very good and the two way decocking system is great, though letting the hammer down slowly is not considered a safe way of doing it, you still have the option. These were the Spanish military version of the Beretta for the US. All metal except the grips and very well made. They are going for around 3 to 4 hundred at the shows in FL. I accquired an A80 and a 90 at a show about two years ago for $600 for the two and neither had been shot. Though no longer made, parts can still be found, especially at the shows. Even magazines sare still floating around. If this will be a serious shooter for you, I would look into something still being produced with a good warranty, but for an occasional shooter and a great conversation piece, I don't think you can go wrong with one if you get one that is still tight and at a good price. JMHO.
