Re: Advanced Arms, Pittston, PA
I met Chris and his wife about three weeks ago when I stopped in their shop with my grandson. I was greeted by their staff and introduced to their inventory and how shop operates. I was positively impressed!
Chris, I travel extensively throughout the state. Firearms and related products are scarce everywhere right now. You are obviously trying to do your best to satisfy your customers under the current conditions without the price gouging I see in most other shops. For example - one shop wanted $895 for a completed Bushmaster lower. Same price for a Bushmaster upper they also had in stock.
Fellow PAFOA'ers, this will now be my go to shop!!

Re: Advanced Arms, Pittston, PA
Chris, Mary and the rest of the AA staff are really great people to deal with. I've purchased several firearms from Chris in the past, and he has always been a pleasure to do business with. Really takes his time to understand your needs and help you choose the firearm that is right for you. I've been in several times since December, and while AA is usually pretty busy, they generally get to you within 10 minutes, which is incredible given the amount of customers they service. These guys are really dedicated to their customers, always willing to spend as much time with someone as necessary. I can easily see myself being a lifetime customer here
On a side note... I'm currently waiting for my FNX 45 tactical to come in, can't wait to take it out to the range

I totally agree! The staff at AA is the best and most knowledgeable. Most ammo cals. in stock but mags are tight everywhere. Great job guys!

Great shop, wish I lived close and I would make this my primary shop. Bought a glock from someone here and the transfer was only $20. Made by 1.5 hour drive without AC from Mount Pocono that much better.

How did it take you 1.5 hours to get from Mt. Pocono to Pittston? Did you get lost?
On a serious note, Chris, Mary, and the entire staff at AA are top notch. They are my primary shop, and I don't live that far from Mt. Pocono. AA is well worth the 40 minute drive. Their prices are excellent. I easily save more than what I spend on gas to get there.

Re: Advanced Arms, Pittston, PA
Are you familiar with Route 502? If you get off 380 at Gouldboro, make a left at the 4th traffic light. It takes you right down into Moosic. If you know Taylor and Old Forge, you can probably get to AA from Moosic, but if you can't, PM me, and I'll give you the rest of the directions.
Going to AA from where you live via Scranton on 380/81 is long even without construction. :-)
