FYI, Police Trade-In Beretta .40 Cal at Buds
I know there was recent issues with CC's but I've not had any problems. I just wanted to pass along info on some police trade-ins of Beretta Vertec's in .40
Your choice black or inox (stainless)
Black 379.99: http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalo.../411543378
Inox 399.99: http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalo.../411543387
I ordered an Inox tonight. I had picked up a 92FS police trade-in and it's one of my favorite shooters."The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. I am very pleased with what I received so far. She looks fantastic. I picked up 100rds of .40 cal and I hope to shoot it this weekend.
Here is the only wear that I can find on it.

Re: FYI, Police Trade-In Beretta .40 Cal at Buds
FYI.. I took my 15yr old daughter to the range today. We shot the Sig Mosquito, Ruger LCP .380 Auto, Springfield XD(M) 9mm, this Beretta 96 Vertec .40 and my ATI GI .45ACP.
I was happy with each and every gun but I want to take the bridgemount and red dot off of the Sig Mosquito. It's just not my cup of tea.
After cycling through all my guns, my daughter claimed the new Beretta as her favorite. I was surprised because I found the .40 to produce a lot more recoil than my XD(M). I actually felt as though it was similar to the .45 ACP. The gun shoots great. I was popping off metal plates at 50ft with no trouble. I actually set up a little 3" Shoot-N-C on a metal plate at 25ft. My first shot made that target disappear.
I consider this a great purchase. I may not make it through the weekend without ordering one in black."The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

Anyone know which LE agency these are traded in from?
I know that the Maryland State Police used this pistol for years and recently changed to something else.
The MDSP always uses Beretta's because the US office for Beretta is in MD."One must be a fox to recognize traps, and a lion to frighten wolves” ~ Machiavelli
