Gunsmiths in the Schuylkill Country area

Looking to have a new barrel extension installed on my AR-15.

On Target Gun Shop is local, but a previous thread was less than glowing about their work (or the fact that they ship it out).

Sooooo... who's good for work in Schuylkill or surrounding areas? Would like to drive less than an hour, unless there is a good steak house near by.

A good gunshop is Ed's in Tamaqua, I believe he does gunsmithing there. Check a phonebook and you will find it. Also a new gunshop is supposed to be opening in Schuylkill Haven, it may have opened already.

Drive down to the Slatington area and check out Precision Armaments.

Where in Haven is this new shop supposed to be opening?

Do you remember where that old shop was in Haven? It was kind of dingy and dark, I forget the name. Same location, different owners.

That was pretty close to the police station on the opposite side of the train tracks or am I thinking of something else?

I know that place.... weird hours. New owners sounds good... hope they advertise so I can see whats up.

Great NEW OWNERS... Schuylkill Gun Works 5-9pm weekdays & 9 am-8pm Sat... WITH REASONABLE PRICES... Been there & purchased...on the way to Cabelas from Rochester NY .....
