DA Heckler on The Castle Doctrine
Has anyone read this article on how our beloved DA views the changes to the Castle Doctrine? And I voted for this guy. A solution in search of a problem, what a dope.
http://www.phillyburbs.com/news/loca...8ebcf4a43.htmlPoliticians who fear the people seek to disarm them.
People who fear their government's intentions refuse to be disarmed.

Re: DA Heckler on The Castle Doctrine
Buckingham Sgt. J.R. Landis said that, in reality, whether someone can or cannot retreat from an attacker is really up to the attacker. He said there are two types of attackers, one who sees an opportunity to do harm and one who is dedicated to doing harm. The first type, Landis said, will give up on the attack the minute they are resisted. The second type is going to pursue the victim and eliminate any attempt to retreat, Landis said.
He said he supports the change.

Re: DA Heckler on The Castle Doctrine
Good for Sgt Landis. What he should have added was "when enough homeowners send a clear three_to_the_chest message to these scumbags, the world will be a much better place for the rest of us."
It has to start someplace... It has to start sometime...

Re: DA Heckler on The Castle Doctrine
What an idiot.
He clearly ignored the part of the bill where it states that use of force in self defense is not justified while committing a crime or while being in illegal possession of a firearm. This will not give criminals any leeway.

Re: DA Heckler on The Castle Doctrine
It's quite obvious that these Professional Politicians care more for the perps than they do for the victims. Their campaign rhetoric rarely matches their post election actions.
