Default 2" Revolver concealed carry options?

Hello, I have a Rossi model 335 .38 special 5-shot revolver with a 2" barrel that I am looking to get a holster for. I am sure there are plenty of folks around who CC similar short-barreled, medium-frame revolvers on a regular basis, anybody have any advice? I have never concealed-carried a firearm before.

I am of slender build, 5'10" approx. 150 lbs. I am looking for something that is comfortable (for daily use), practical (for quick draw if needed), and concealable within reason, I expect some printing given I typically wear jeans and a t-shirt when it's warm out. Maybe some baggy tee's are in my future. Cooler weather makes it a bit easier, I wear more baggy flannel shirts or sweatshirts over a t-shirt during those times.

So many options out there, inside the pant, high-ride, pocket, shoulder, etc. Just trying to figure out a good starting point, even if it's just on a trial basis. Was leaning toward inside the waistband style, anybody use those for similar pistols?

P.S., I have filled out the application for my PA license to carry, just need to drop it off at the sherrif's office. I do not currently carry, but I intend to once I get my license. I live in a rough part of town where people are getting shot and killed more and more often. Just last week a woman was shot to death in her own home less that 3 blocks from my house. Several of my friends have been jumped and robbed leaving my house after visiting. I recently decided that I will not stand by unprepared and just hope for the best. My father always told me to hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. I finally took that to heart yesterday and purchased the Rossi as my first handgun. Though I have not fired it yet, I hope to get to the range and practice, practice, practice asap. Thanks for reading!

Besides practice, listen to the advice given by experienced shooters, and preferably - get some training.

    Fist holsters:

Have used both with a Taurus 2" .38 special. Very comfortable for my build (5'6", 145#) and no damage from sweating.

Rossi specific holsters will be hard to find. Just look for holsters for a S&W J-frame with a 2"-3" barrel. There are countless options for J-frames out there.

The Galco Summer Comfort is a good solid IWB design. I use one for my J frame when I don't go with pocket carry.

Yes mine was an IWB made completely in America.
I carried at 3:30 on my person and it was extremely comfortable and extremely accessible.

I recommend leather because it wears in and can conform to your body, just more comfortable.

for a 2" barrel, an iwb is nice and easy.

That's exactly what I needed to know, thanks! My buddy picked up a Taurus model 85 that came with a nice Bianchi leather hip holster, it also fit my Rossi so I figured there had to be a holster for a "big name" gun that would fit other small revolvers.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as a self-defense based training course? How much can I expect the cost of such a program to be?
