I will be graduating May 14th so a different weekend would definitely suit me better as well.

I will have a Mossberg 817 .17 HMR with mounted 6X24X42 Tasco scope for sale. Has a sling, synthetic stock, free floating bull barrel, 400 rounds down the tube. Possibly with a hard case.

Side note: does anybody locally have a forearm wrench for a Remmy 870? I'm switching out stocks and if someone has one that I may borrow I would prefer to save the $30 plus shipping to buy one. Thanks in advance.

That Mossberg may go pretty quick at the sale.

Well, because of my upcoming work schedule, it looks like the sale will be held on May 27-28. I'll do the formal announcement posting in the Centre, Clinton and other sections to get the word out. Any questions? Just PM me or post in the new announcement.

I can't post the formal announcement in more than one place so it is in the Events-General section.

The date for the sale is 27 and 28 May. Yes, that is Memorial Day weekend but doesn't really affect anything because it is the Fri and Sat before. This may actually generate more foot traffic because people may have relatives/friends in for the weekend. Nothing is really going on until Monday so if they see the ad in the CDT or the signs maybe they'll come over.

If you need more info, or want to sell something but won't be in town, send me a PM and I'll explain the workings. For those of you who know you will be putting things the sale, you can bring them over any any time between now and the 27th. If I'm not home, call the shop (814-867-0867) and let the wife know you're dropping stuff off. When I'm not home she is leery of answering the door if she isn't expecting someone.

In the evening on the 27th a few of us will be driving up to Linden, PA for a night at the drive-in.

This coming weekend is the sale. You can drop off anything you want to sell anytime this week. Just give a call before coming over.

Also, I have a small grill I can fire up around lunch time or so if anyone wants to cook some burgers or dogs. I'll have some snacks and different drinks but if you want to bring something, go right ahead.

We (FOAC) will also have a table set up for folks that want info and we have a gun raffle (S&W M&P and Barrett .50 Cal) going on also and will have tickets available.

Hope to see a lot of PAFOA and FOAC members.
