Looking for a Range around Pottstown & North Coventry

I'll be getting my 9mm PX4 Storm this week and want to start practicing. I was wondering if there are any good ranges around this area that I can go to every week. I know there is a French Creek in Phoenixville but I'm not a fan of them in general.

Oley Fish and Game

There's an outdoor 25-50yd pistol and rifle range open daily until just before dusk.

There is some debate about how tolerant the club is with regard to rapid-fire noise (neighbors that move next to a range and then complain), but so far it hasn't been a problem for me. Since it's nearby, I would suggest a quick trip to see if it fits your needs. There is a bulletin board in the parking lot that should have current membership information and phone numbers.

Google Maps search places "470 Geigertown Road" incorrectly, so use this link showing the exact location of the fishing pond and the clubhouse behind the parking lot. The latitude and longitude are embedded in the link if you have access to a GPS device.

Another vote for Northern Chester County Sportsmen's Club (NCCSC). I am an assistant Range Master there. A lot of improvements going on. Also a lot of instructional courses being taught there. Great place with very few rules.

Thanks for all this great info! I think I have a brochure for NCCSC when I bought my pistol. I got my PX4 Storm 9mm at Warwick firearms and he gave me some info on that place. I think I may join there as it's fairly close to where I live. I may have to take you up on that yldwill and join isn't price of admission $40 or $50 a year with an NRA membership?

I'll also put a +1 for Northern Chester County Sportsmens. Just recently joined myself. They have done a lot of work recently getting the ranges redone.
If you have time you can come out to the trap shoot tonight 6 PM - 9 PM.

Sounds like I'll be joining NCCSC this weekend glad to see some users here are members there. I'm going to fill out the membership form tonight and get everything ready. I know I have to attend a meeting does someone also have to sponsor you as well? I was curious as I know some gun clubs do.
