AK's are giving me a headache

I'm looking into getting another AK and am trying to do some research on them. You can look at AK stuff for weeks. So many different makes and models. Russian, Polish, Czech, Yugo, Bulgarian, Romanian, Chinese, even USA made.
SLR, SGL,M70 AB2, AMD65, SSR-85C, AKMS, Side folder, under folder. I'm getting a headache, it's no wonder that I drink.

Uh, yeah... can you post a more descriptive thread giving us some idea of what you are trying to decide between? Maybe what you already have, what niche in the AK lineup that might need filled etc?

We all know there are a bunch to choose from. But you gave us nothing to go on to help you figure out or even narrow it down to what might be a good 'next' AK. Or were we just supposed to post random ones until you magically pick one?

A Yugo M70 is on the short list. Also the AMD65. Maybe even a WASR UF if I can look at it first. Quality can be spotty with them. So many choices, so little money.

I have a Yugo underfolder
a Romy,
a Madi
and a Tantal
they all go bang everytime I pull the trigger.
That being said The Yugo is built like a tank and my next one will be a full stock Yugo

Do yourself a favor and get a Norinco or Polytech made in China. Most of that commie bloc stuff came into this country in parts. Add some cheap American parts and there you go, a low quality AK. Norinco and Ploytech are all arsenal parts.

I had a M70 AB2 Yugo in my hands today. Kind of a funky green color. Didn't care for the $700 price tag. Plus tax and transfer it will be closer to $800. Too rich for my blood. Same gun from Atlantic is $499. I may bring that up next time I'm there.

Ive read a couple of negative reviews, but I love my IO inc ak 47. Granted I dont know much about AKs, but it seems to shoot decent, Ive only shot about 100 or so rounds....probably gonna shoot 200 or so tomorrow. I like everything about it except the sling, but thats easy enough to change.

I have romanian sar-1 and wasr10. The sar is Beauty (looks wise) and the wasr is Beast (elements ready). Both are hard core -no bullshit weapons that are ready for action.
