Oh, and as we were fixing to leave the bowling alley, our newest teammate - a 21 year old fella - excitedly told me he was looking forward to getting his LTCF, after seeing I had strapped up after putting away my equipment. I was in a bad mood because I bowled like shit, so I will catch up with him next week.
The one advantage of being right handed but left eye dominant (so a left handed shooter) - no issues bowling and carrying

    I guess I'm really crossed. I'm left-eye dominant but predominantly right-handed.
Somehow I taught myself to shoot handguns right-handed and long guns left-handed.
My Kimber 1911 and I can obliterate the "X" at 25 yards. Unfortunately, astigmatism
is having it's say with my long range shooting. That said, I still hit the metal plate in the
backstop at 230 yards with my Mosin and iron sights, maybe 1 out of 10.

Hopefully my plans for eye care and surgery will hold for 2023.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

    I shoot the same way.

I shot expert with the M-14 and left handed in Basic (1966). Reached over the weapon and pulled the bolt back with web of the left hand. Lost a little time getting back on the trigger but I did fine.
