I know that some of you will understand where I am coming from - many will even say, "I told ya so," or "I knew this would happen some day." Others might feel like I am a sell out, or like I'm giving up on something, and you're perfectly entitled to that opinion, but it's not that simple. I am just working to mold multiple priorities into my life without losing sight of any of them, or compromising my morals.

Viper: I was reading one of my favorite blogs today, and this bit is so relevant to your update:

I am relatively new here. Lived in NY for 38 years. Just rented house in Williamsport. I've read all of this thread and you have really made an impression on me. I plan to open carry and my questions have been answered -thanks to you and fellow posters. I don't think many people know their rights and are getting their information from all the wrong places. Thank you for your postings and this comes from the bottom of my heart! I have NY unrestricted as well as FL and UT non-resident. Glock 23. My best to you and your family.

It's too bad so many people get wrapped up in the OC vs. CC debate, instead of realizing that OC is as much about the 1st, 4th & 5th Amendments as it is the 2nd.
