The three places near me all charge $20 to $25. $50 is a hosing, no doubt about it.

Everywhere in the Philly area is $50, except for one place, Abington Gun Sports, that's the lowest I could find for $30.

And Classic Pistol also charge $50.

    Thanks Garpman -
Abington Guns is only about 5 miles from me. I never thought to ask them!

I like to support my local range/business, but not if they are going stick it up my ass.
    $20 is $20

Just got an email back from The Sportsman's Shop in New Holland.
They too have a $50.00 transfer fee.

I was hoping to use them for a possible transaction. I'm keeping my options open because of that reply

I just raised my price from $15 to 20. And at $20 (even at $15) I do 1, 2, 10 or 20 firearms for one price. I did make the guy who transfered 22 handguns at one time fill out ALL the forms, including dealer and seller info. Saves a bunch of money for a group rifle purchase.
