Re: If, you could have only one shotgun...
Remington 870 in 12 ga. You can get so much to add to them or change them.

Re: If, you could have only one shotgun...
Only one shotgun? It would have to be my Remington 870 Wingmaster in 12 gauge. You didn't say we couldn't have more than 1 barrel though, so I'd have a 28 in. vent rib rem choke barrel and a 18 in cylinder barrel.

Re: If, you could have only one shotgun...
One only? It'd have to be an O/U in 12 ga.....probably a Browning Citori in one form or another. 28" barrels.
If I had to pick from guns that I own, it'd be the Ithaca 37 Featherlight.

Re: If, you could have only one shotgun...
Same here, but the Military and Police model with the 8-rd full length magazine. I have a phophate-finished Model 37 M&P, ex-PSP; and a Model 87 DS Police Special with the 8 rd mag. Neither of them has a disconnector.
Solid steel receiver, no ejection port to weaken the receiver. Feeds and ejects from the bottom, so it makes an excellent ambidextrous pump gun for left and right hand shooters. Designed by J M Browning and made by Remington and then Ithaca bought the patent rights in the late Depression era and introduced the Model 37 in the late 1930s.
I have a model 870 12 ga pump and it's an excellent shotgun, no question. But I pick up, handle, and shoot an Ithaca Model 37 and I get that certain "Wow!" reaction.

I can't decide between the Mossberg Chainsaw, the Leaf Blower or the Weed Whacker.

Re: If, you could have only one shotgun...
870 for sure. I used to have the 870 Special Purpose Magnum, silly me sold it, but I recently got a new 870. I can't stay away from them.

I'd have to vote for the Mossberg 590...I have a new 870 but haven't had enough time to put it through the paces.
