    Default Bond Snake Slayer

I was at Cabelas today and looked at the Snake Slayer. It looks like a great CC/ backup gun. I am wondering how much of a hand full that thing is to shoot with the 45 LC or the 410 shot shell. Any one do a range report that I did not see or find.

I always stressed to my son"one shot one kill that was all that is needed". When He came home from Marine Corp Boot camp He was telling me about the Marines stressing "ONE SHOT ONE KILL" He looks at me and the light bulb went on Dad was now a whole lot smarter than he was 13 weeks ago.

Don't know about the gun, but please review your thread title and change it accordingly.

I just didn't want anyone to think we had bonds out on slaves here.

Terrible trigger. It was unpleasant to shoot with 45lc, and really unpleasant to shoot in 410. Also did you handle it much? It's bigger and heavier than guns that give you more firepower.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

The Bond Arms derringers are extremely heavy for what they are. A .38spl/.357mag/44spl revolver can be had for less weight, nearly the same size, and less money with 3 more shots.

I did handle the snake slayer. It was heavy and it looked like it would be painful to shoot. MY wife's J frame is a nice little gun. I was just thinking that the flatness of the snake slayer was nice. I will probably go with a small revolver.

True but they are a neat toy. I have several different barrels for mine.
