If there are no signs at the entrance, then you're free to conceal carry until you are told otherwise.

It is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to get permission.

Do not open carry or you will be told to leave. It is as simple as that. It is private property and you open carrying will 99% of the time result in you being asked to leave. They probably do have a policy in their management saying no guns, so why draw attention to yourself?

The theater as well as the mall in King of Prussia have no-gun signs. They appeared in the last few Weeks.

Has the world gone mad? Somehow this delusion that hanging a sign saying "Gun Free Zone" is going to keep someone out who is intent on Mass Murder? It is so lacking in common sense that it astounds me. Sorry, i just had to vent.

Makes sense. The no-gun signs makes malls practically as safe as schools!

Many malls don't have signs but from what I understand almost all have it in their policies. I agree with the above posts: conceal carry and if you are asked to leave, leave immediately. Private property, etc etc. It's all been said.

I'm willing to bet it probably has something to do with civil litigation and the crazy theories behind what "could" happen.

Like someone is carrying and his gun goes off and hits and injures someone else. They not only sue the guy with the gun but the mall as well. Well if its in their policies someone can't bring a gun then they can't be liable for anything since the guy violated their policy. Allowing people to carry guns I suppose can be perceived as a unusual danger being allowed by the owner of the property. Key word is perceive because it really doesn't make the mall anymore dangerous unless the person is there to kill everyone. I'm sure such a person doesn't really give a rats ass about no gun signs though.
