FIRE Institute Basic Tactical Pistol in June is a go.

The Basic Tactical Pistol course set for June 17, 19 and 19 (Friday through Sunday) is sufficiently enrolled, and is a "go." There are four slots left at present.

The Rangemaster will be Giles Stock. The cost is $395. It is being held at the Pitcarin-Monroeville Sportsman's Club, 25 minutes East of Pittsburgh and 10 minutes from the Pittsburgh/Monroeville exit of the Pa. Turnpike. (Members of PMSC club get a $25 discount on this course.)

This course is sold out. We will wait-list people if they wish.

We have HAND GUN 101 on September 9 - 11. That is also a three-day, level one tactical pistol course. RM is Randy Cain.

Also, if you have already taken a level one pistol course, consider "CQB Hand Gun," on July 8, 9 and 10. This course incorporates movement and skills which address the problems one will encounter using a hand gun in the course of a contact-distance encounter.

Be advised ... we have increased the size of this class and added an instructor.

This class will now be enrolled to sixteen. As of this writing (April 28, 2011) we already have fourteen. Two slots left.

Giles Stock is still the rangemaster. Price is still $395.

It should be a good time.

Please note that the correct starting time for Basic Tactical Pistol this coming Friday is 9:30 a.m.

It says 10:00 a.m. at one place on the web site. That is a holdover from a prior year, and we are getting that corrected.
