Default PS90 barrel cutting and threading without Form 1?

Okay calm down people, I'm not doing anything illegal.

I'm looking for a place that can cut my PS90 barrel down to 10.3" and thread 12mm left hand threads. I have the barrel removed from the receiver and have no intention of assembling an SBR without the tax stamp. Right now the Form 1 is in the ATF's hands and I'm waiting for approval. I just want to get some of the footwork done so I can assemble it right after I get the stamp. I plan on sending out the receiver tomorrow for engraving and would like to get the barrel cut and threaded as well. I know about TrosUSA but they require to see an approved Form 1. I just sent an email to Tornado Technologies and we'll see what they say. Does anyone know of a place that can do this work? Or even better, a place that can do the barrel work and also the engraving?

I'm not trying to get into that debate right now. Like I said, I have absolutely no intent of assembling the firearm without the tax stamp. I'm not even going to install the barrel on the upper. There's nothing illegal about owning a short PS90 barrel, just like there is nothing illegal about owning a short AR-15 barrel.

It is what it is, you're even talking about it publicly. ATF loves stuff like this. You have the lower, and have the upper in the same place right? Just like when you buy SBR AR uppers they say ALL NFA rules apply. I'd not walk a thin line w/ the ATF as the line can become very blurred and not in your favor.

Leave the barrel with the guy who does the work until you get the stamp.

I wish they would just call the PS90 a Pistol! It uses a "pistol round"

Not a bad idea, I will see if someone can do that for me.

    I'll check it out, thanks.

ETA: Just looked at their website. Have you personally dealt with them? Do you know if they are willing/able to do firearm related work?

I like the idea of engraving the reciever before form 1 approval!
