Default Now, it's Revolver Fever: S&W 36 on Layaway

I put some money down to hold this. A S&W 36 .38 special. One very fine light scratch on it. Otherwise, it's all but perfect. At $299, I was going to grab it today, but figured I could claim to not have bought a gun this week, if I just put it on layaway.

I'm told that it's an approx 1960's gun, though I'll confirm when I buy it. Either way, it seems like a nice piece.

Very nice. The wheel gun habit is gonna be hard to break.

Cool Re: Now, it's Revolver Fever: S&W 36 on Layaway

Pistol, revolver, they're all good. I just picked up a Colt Detective Special, first issue. 1930 from the serial number. Revolvers are always classic.

I bought my first revolver about 8 months ago, I now have 4 of them.
    1 S&W and 3 Colts.

I doubt that I will ever buy another semi-auto again.
My next one will be the S&W model 29

Excellent, nothing like a J-frame Smith to combine ease of carry, use and mind.

I remember saying, "I have no interest in revolvers at all". It just took one to change my mind.

Good choice. I've got a 629, but every time I watch Hickok45 show off his 29, I want to get one.

Indeed. I ALMOST ended up with a 2 inch 686 today, with beautiful rosewood stocks.
I was looking for budget guns though and couldn't swing it. I made out alright though.

Hey Mark, could you please stay away from Tanners for a while so the rest of us can purchase some guns too! (j/k) Nice addition to your collection.
