whats a good laser for the m&p?

I just picked up the m&p 45. I have thought about getting a laser or light/laser combo for it but would like to hear some opinions. I plan on doing this after I do a few apextactical and other upgrades.

I'd go with a Crimson Trace, much less bulk than a L/L Combo. It just replaces the changeable back strap. I have several CT products as well as the Insight Tech M6 and X2, both are L/L Combo's, the X2 is one of the smallest available but still restricts the use of a "normal" holster. If you go the L/L, watch Sportsmans Supply Auctions on GB, AA they start auctions @.01 and list some optics, L/L's etc.

Thanks for the information, I have also looked a guide rod lasers but not sure what I want exactly, I agree the L/L combos are bulky. I live right near sportsman supply. I will have to check out their auctions on there.

I would say the crimson trace for the M&P. Yes, I have a post on here about a crimson trace problem on my M&P however, I have had them for 2 years without a problem and customer svc. has been great to deal with so far. I love the way you just change the back strap and it looks like you never modified your gun and all holsters still fit it verses a light/lazer combo. Just my 2 cents...
