Default Best gun auction nearest to Hanover

Anyone know of a good auction house near Hanover? I'm going to sell my two over 100 year old non sporterized german mausers.

    Might try Redding Auction

    http://www.reddingauction.com/

    or Horst:

    http://www.horstauction.com/

Horst is in Ephrata so it's not close but I thought I'd mention them. Both companies have been advertising gun auctions several times per year for many years in the Lancaster Farming newspaper.

Redding has an auction this weekend and Horst the next.

    FWIW,

    Dale

I have been to both auction houses for their gun auctions and they are both good places. I have never consigned anything to Redding's, but I have consigned at Horst in the past. Horst charges a 20% commision fee on the hammer price which is typical with auction houses. I like Horst because they have a gun auction about once a month and they make up a detailed auction catalog with a good description of each firearm, and a picture posted online. Redding has the advantage of multiple pictures posted online but the description is a little lacking. Both seem to pack the auction house with standing room only during the gun auctions, and they both have loyal following. Personally I perfer Horst slightly over Redding because they seem to run like a "well oiled machine" and Redding is a little more disorganized but they both do a good job in selling. Redding is much more closer to Hanover than Horst as well. Hope this helps.
