periscope
I know that the Russian snipers used a periscope to look around rather than stick their heads up. Has anybody ever seen one, or a picture of one? I searched the web and could find no reference to it. PS I hope I posted this in the right section. Joe

Re: periscope
Your google fu must be weak. I just searched for "russian periscope" and found lots of references as well as pictures.
It's also known as a trench periscope.
Plus, it looks like a modern equivalent is already available for a reasonable price.

I'd even consider getting one for giggles for that price.Last edited by streaker69; March 20th, 2011 at 01:47 PM.

Re: periscope
Thanks Streaker, I don't know why my search only came up with submarine scopes.
