I am a 1911 man. I carry a colt OACP. I am also a colt man. I like to pocket carry. I find that to be very comfortable all year long. There is nothing worse then an uncomfortable gun. If you are uncomfortable you will not carry. I have tried IWB, pancake, and pocket carry is the way to go for me. When I am in public places I tend to have my hands in my pocket so my hand is on my gun. fast draw.

usually a 45 of some flavor, either SW1911, or a HK USP compact 45.
    Sometimes a 44special S&W Mountain lite.
I'm a big guy, i can hide a lot of gun.
Summer is coming, so a lighter more sweat resistant gun...so I'll probably carry my FN5.7 USG alot...carried it all over the place last summer, unless I bumped into someone, forgot I had it.

I always carry a pocket 22 Mag NAA or a HJS 4shot sharps 22 as a last ditch.

Springfield XD 9. Belt holster. But if I can get the money up I plan to look for something small for summer. I may be 'plump' but female clothing does not lend itself to conceal carry very well.

    Default I feel inadequate

OK bring on the laughs - Llama Micro Max (.380 auto). Small, so I can pocket it but like an ankle rig better. I know that the caliber is on the puny side but better than a .45 that I can't hide

not a thing wrong with a lightweight carry gun. I just dont own any smaller calibers.

+1 you carry what you're comfortable with.

Russian Makarov. It's the second handgun I bought and it has never jammed in over 1500rds. Nice compact carry gun that ALWAYS goes bang. Been carrying it for over 10 years.
