Nice to see an article out of the Washington times calling these idiots out, now if only the major Ca. papers would do the same thing

We need an amendment to the Constitution that says lawmakers cannot pass laws and exempt themselves from the law. No special previlages. I know this isn't a federal issue but we still need that nonetheless.

How about one step further? All government entities are considered civilians, and are subject to all civilian law, in addition to the special regulations, rules, and requirements of their position.
Lawmakers that cannot exempt themselves from laws. Police that can't abuse their positions to avoid speeding tickets or unlawful harassment. Each of these could do their job, as trained, without special legal exemptions.
ETA: On second thought, all that falls under the definition of corruption/oppression. Lawsuits, anyone?Last edited by legendarylorot; March 17th, 2011 at 02:24 PM.

There is an intended benefit to all gun owners with this bill. It's not being let out of the bag because we want this bill to pass.

"To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic." -- Ted Nugent
