Why should we believe Obama is out to get criminals if he allows people with Billy clubs to roam in front of polling places? (assuming they are "Holder's people" of course)

Or if he allows the ATF to practice gun walking.

Exactly why should we believe a word that comes out of his mouth?

And if we are going to talk about background checks, shouldn't we start with Obama?

Once again Obama shows how utterly clueless he is. A background check takes what, 2 minutes?

His ideas, preventing those with criminal records from getting guns, are already being practiced. Calling him disingenuous is being too kind. I will not post what I think of this clown.

If we're all honest and phrase the question properly, the answer becomes obvious.

"Can we allow dangerous criminals and the irresponsibly insane to roam free among us, without them posing a threat to the rest of us?"

You can't walk down an aisle at Home Depot without seeing objects that could easily be used to kill a human being. Some paranoid Progressives see a handgun and imagine a crazed gunman shooting up unarmed folks cowering in a gun-free zone. Yet they are oblivious to the fact that allowing dangerous people to walk free means that there's no Official Background Check performed on them before they can purchase a cinder block and drop it onto traffic from an overpass.
