Report Fisher Sighting?

I've seen a fisher twice now in 3 days behind my house. Does anyone know if the PGC wants these sightings reported? Other than e-mail any online resources available for reporting?

Got some pics and mediocre video too.

My info could be wrong, but I heard that the PGC has a program going on to re-introduce 'fishers'. So they just might be interested.

There is at least one near our property I have seen a few times, but only during the warmer summer weather. One of my old Springer spaniels (now passed on) chased it up one of our apple trees. I did not realize they were so agile when necessary. It jumped up nearly 3 feet onto the tree, then climbed like a cat.

That sucker seemed like a viscious little critter too.

I wouldn't mess with one.

I know the pgc was reintroducing them back in the 90's. Not sure if they still are.

Years ago I saw one road killed on 611 in Tannersville. It was sad. Truly very interesting creatures and yeah, I wouldn't mess with one either, but I'd like to see the video.

Not sure how to handle the video. I'm not a big fan of the photobucket type sites. I edited the video to be around 45 seconds, but it's still 19meg.

Understandable....I do usually use sites like photobucket. You can put it on facebook or something but yeah, I know how that works too.....privacy and all...

I consider myself lucky to have watched one while deer hunting in Warren County. Neat animal there. Thanks for sharing.

I saw one of these clowns on the way home from work this morning running up a bank.

First I ever saw one.
