You shouldn't be too far from Holidaysburg, in Blair County?
They have both IDPA and USPSA

Re: Looking for IDPA/USPSA events
Auggie,
I will be shooting at Clairton this sunday for their monthly USPSA match if you are new and would like someone to meet up with. They start registration at 9, and I will be there between 8:30 and 8:45.
East Huntington is having a new shooter orientation on Sat the 26th, where you will get some background info and such in a class setting then off to the range to shoot a few stages, then their regular monthly shoot is on Sun the 27th. It is a great way to get started in USPSA. I am up in the air as to whether I will be there for this, but wanted to pass along the info.
I will PM you with my contact ifno if you'd like
Doug

Auggie77,
For IDPA near Pittsburgh, you have
1. Lawrence County Sportsman Association (1 hr North of Pittsburgh) the first Sunday of each month.
2. Beaver Valley (50 mins N/W of Pittsburgh) the third Saturday of each month.
3. Hancock County in Wierton W.V., 3rd Sunday of each month.
4. Mason Dixon, in Morgantown W.V., 1st Saturday of each month.
5. Hollidaysburg PA, the 3rd Saturday of each month.Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.
