In the NRA magazine "AMERICAN HUNTER" on page 56 of the march issue I read sometning that has ALWAYS PISSED ME OFF! It is half way throught the second paragraph "" claims that the role of the court is to INTERPRET the Constitotion flexibly.
As I said it pisses me off. Anyone who reads the 2A READ IT as it is there is NO interpretation. That goes for ALL the amendments.
Just venting after reading the article. If anyone out there is not happy with what I wrote and can explain it to me better then take me out behind the woodshed I got some switches to choose from.

While I understand your feelings, the bottom line is that the function of the Judicial branch of our government is specifically to interpret the law... that goes for the Constitution as well. That being said, you would think that something like the Bill of Rights is pretty clear and not open to many different types of interpretations; but even Supreme Court justices allow personal political bias to affect their interpretations.

Bet they still asked for ILA donations in that issue, too!

Maybe if we had MORE judges who believed in original intent, the NRA could give more money to Boy Scout Camp rifle ranges, etc., instead of spending money fighting flexible judicial rulings...
