That barrel looks like a Yugo AK that was "stored" in a lake bed after being fired.

Looks like whatever they use to rifle the barrels "missed a spot" as well. Cute.

Shoulda got an LCP Ouch, had to say it. Hope I didn't piss you off too bad. I'm sure KT will make everything right. From what everyone says they really stand behind they're product. It really sucks to see something like this. Bad barrel, finish, FTE ,FTF, whatever ya know. You spend you're hard earned money on something and it fails. Then you gotta send it back, yada, yada, yada, big pain in the ass. I feel for ya. Hopefully in a week or two we'll all hear how KT totally did right and you love them and are now using it as a BUG. Good luck. Hope I didnt piss you off to bad with that 1st part

I'm not mad at ya. I had 2 LCP's and got rid of both, I liked them but they just weren't for me, and at the time of the 2nd one I had a S&W442 so the LCP just collected dust. Now I carry a G23 and my girls P-32 when I need a pocket rocket and I love hers so I decided I want my own KelTec. I'm really not that bothered by having to send it back, it is what it is, at least they are going to make good on it.

Also just so you guys know, there is no rust in there at all, just pitting or possibly even chatter, but what ever it is I want my barrel to be clean and smooth and from what I was told they will take care of that so we'll see; I'm sending it today.

Maybe it's just me, but I've never purchased any handgun or long gun new or used without giving the gun a good visual inspection including the barrel.

Glad kel-tech is making it good.
