    Default Wife got her LTCF!!!

My wife finally got her LTCF. When I started carrying, she wasn't really into it. But, a few weeks ago, she told me that she wanted to get a LTCF. Tears of happiness filled my eyes. Between my job and her job, we couldn't make it to the Sheriffs Office until today.

I have to commend the Lackawanna Sheriffs Office for their efficiency. 20 minutes is all it took to get her LTCF. I was pleased to see that the application doesn't require the references to be Lackawanna residents, like it used to. Also, the fee was lowered from $31 to $25, complying with state law.

Now that she'll be carrying, I guess I better be nice to her.

That's awesome! Any idea what you'll be getting her?

For now, she can use my .38 S&W model 60. In time, I'll get her something more ladyish.

They're so sexy, I bought 2 of them. Congratulations to your wife, too. I just got my license yesterday. The only problem is I won't be able to wear any kind of belt for another few weeks, so my options for holsters are kind of limited for the moment.

Tell your wife congratulations! Also your post took a lot off my mind. I'm planning on moving to Clarkes Summit in November from this hellhole called Jersey and was dreading the references as I know nobody non family in that area. Least now I know I can use my New Jersey references without trouble when I move and apply for my LTCF.

That happened to me. When I moved here from NJ, I had to carry under the 'Florida loophole' since I didn't have any references from the county.
