Re: February Practical Rifle Match at LRGC
We are half full so far. To answer a few of the questions I've been getting via email,
1. I don't have an AK can I still participate with my AR? Yes you can, you just won't be eligible of our prize. That goes to a participant with an AK style rifle using only iron sights.
2. You mention we can bring mags pre-loaded, why the change? For this shoot all mags will be loaded to 10 rounds. Bring as many as you have. You will need at least three for the match. The round count will be in the 90-120 range. We changed our position on loaded mags for the winter shoots as we believe it is safer to have you arrive with loaded mags than fumble around trying to load them with gloves on.
3. What if it snows the day of the shoot? Please use your judgement. I am typically up at 0630 the day of our shoot. I will make a no-go decision by no later than 0700 and will post it on this forum and over on ARFCOM. So far, in three years we've never had to cancel a match.

Still a few slots left. What else are you going to do on a cold Saturday in February?
