Default Does anyone have an exploded view of a Smith & Wesson 620?

I took my 620 apart today to polish the trigger.... Not a complicated task. However I lost the sear spring.

Question 1, Does it have a shaft or pin that holds it in place? if yes what is the part number? (obviously if it had it I lost that too)

Question 2, What is the part number for the spring?

I will be combing the carpet in my living room for the next hour or 2. If anyone can help (with info) I would be very greatful.

    Thanks.

Find a magnet, then sweep the floor with it.

Based on the Model 66 I have, the Sear if it is the same has no pin to it other then the pin holding the sear in place. Mind you the new "lock" models of S&W are a Biach with the small springs in there. Hope you did not polish the wrong places, that could make your revolver very unsafe.

Find the spring forst if possible, if not, try taking apart a few lightes... Bic comes to mind, but most lighters have very little springs in them that are just waiting to be cut to the right length

The 620 is a newer model....no parts sources (like Numrich etc...) have anything on them..if you can't find the spring, your stuck contacting S & W.

That being said, biggerhammer has the generic revolver manual for S & W with a diagram and all the contact info.

Scroll down to S & W revolvers...you have to use the login info to view it.

    http://biggerhammer.net/manuals/

Lists all the same contact info Frenchy posted....and DO get a magnet!

    Thanks for the info guys.

I called S&W today. Got a message saying "We get a tremendous amount of calls on Monday. Leave a message and we will get back to you."

    So the waiting game begins.

I went over the whole floor with a magnet, Found nothing.... I bet that once I buy a new spring I will step on the old one.
