Sig P228
I'm thinking about getting a Sig P228 for my wife she has small hands, and shot a rental really well, and maybe for me for IDPA. I've shot a 45acp comp gun in some fun matches, but it's not legal. I tried the newer ones with a ss slide, but the balance seams different. Is that me, or does anybody else feel that way. Any help would be appreciated. Where's a good place to find one, and do they hold up for a target gun? Thanks

Re: Sig P228
Stainless steel alloy is heavier than Carbon steel so the new ss will feel funny.
Original 228's are made from formed carbon steel pressed over a mandrel, the ss guns are machined from a single block of steel, much more expensive and much more heavier, so people prefer the classic pressed slides, yeah but its not your imagination.
