BOROUGH OF CORAOPOLIS
NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Borough of Coraopolis shall take action upon a proposed ordinance at a public meeting to be held on the 9th day of March, 2011, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. in the Coraopolis Borough Municipal Building, 1012 Fifth Avenue, Coraopolis, PA 15108 of which the within Notice provides a summary.
The proposed ordinance shall make it unlawful to possess, carry or transport a firearm or weapon in buildings owned by the Borough of Coraopolis. The proposed ordinance is not applicable to law enforcement officers engaged in their official duties. Lastly, the proposed ordinance provides for penalties for violation thereof.
A full text of the proposed ordinance is available for inspection and review at the Office of the Borough Manager during normal business hours. 2/23/11

I don't live in Coraopolis, but I go there a lot because I have family there. I did email Tom Toomey and have received the following response:
I Don't know if you watched the council meeting last week, but I voted against
the ruling. I told them that I took an oath to hold up our Constitution; and I will.

The above was c&p directly from my email, nothing changed.
I was not aware that they already had voting on this issue, unless this guy is blowing smoke. My contact to him via email was merely a copy of their proposal along with a copy of 18 Pa.C.S. § 6120: Limitation on the regulation of firearms and ammunition.
