Doubling down, Rock Mountain was a little cloudy today, but not too cold and no wind. Another round in the 70's ... but a good time anyway !!

Glad to hear you had nice weather to shoot. I knew it would happen like that. I said to my wife that we should just go out and chance it.

I am dying to shoot some birds, so I guess I have to use the old moto; "Shut up and shoot!"

I will tell you this, not shooting for such a length of time (Had shoulder surgery) really had an impact on my break%. I shot 78% which is a big drop from where I left off last season. I hope this is just a matter of "getting back on the horse".

I am curious to see how trap goes this year as well.

I'm shooting a Beretta, can't really spring for anything higher end.

Winter Series #4 registered shoot at Rock Mountain this Sunday. I need to get in a least one practice round before then. Sunday at Lehigh Valley was pretty crowded, it was too late in the day for me to have time to shoot a round given the backlog at the first station. Seems like a really well-run course from what I saw.

I am going out Saturday to test a new shotgun I picked up. I shoot a Beretta AL391 Urika 2 Syn normally for sporting clays. The shotgun just runs, runs, and runs some more with no issues. It also fits me pretty well.

So anyways, I ended up picking up another shotgun last night as I do love O/Us. I scored a lightly used Browning Citori "Special Sporting Clays Edition". If I remember correctly it rolls 28", ported, invector+ chokes, and it has an aftermarket adjustable rear pad.

Now I'm just trying to decide who's chokes I want to use with on it. I could roll some more Briley's, but I am interested in a change to see what else is out there.

    PS> I am a LM junky!

Where are you headed Saturday? I'm going to stay local this week as I will be driving to The Rock on Sunday. I love registered shoots, put up or shut up. I've been doing a lot of shutting up ;->
