Default Need some #9 Shot Harrisburg Area

I would like to load some snake loads for my 44 special and I would like to buy a small amount of #9 snake shot - I cannot find a local source for small quantities of shot. Any place around the Harrisburg area that I could buy a couple of lbs of it - a 25 lb bag will sit around taking up space for the rest of my life since I don't reload for my shotguns.

Gander *might* have a 10 lb. bag. Call firearms before you head there though. Actually, if you can wait until next Wednesday, and can email me a reminder, I'll check when I'm there.

Or just go buy a box and cut a few of them open. Gotta be cheaper than a 10 pound bag.

Went to Gander bought a box of 20 gauge 7/8 #9 for 8.00. Now I guess I have to cut them open - any ideas on the best way to do that?

Exacto knife or a sharp razor blade? I'd just cut the front out, and dig the goodies out. Not like you have to worry about damaging the contents.
